Don’t say we don’t spoil you with our prize draws for this week’s has made our mouths water: a Champagne breakfast for two at chic Soho eatery Quo Vadis, with a hamper of breads from the bakery and homemade preserves to take away afterwards. If you’re not familiar with the restaurant, Quo Vadis was bought by Sam and Eddie Hart in 2008 who had already proved their culinary know-how with their two previous openings Fino and Barrafina. They installed the chef Jeremy Lee and smartened up the dining room with thick white tablecloths, parquet flooring and leather banquettes. In October they decided to open for breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner, with a new QV bakery where the bread is freshly baked overnight. Offering British seasonal fare, the menu includes kippers, eggs, granola and of course that delicious newly made bread. It’s a real West End treat and the perfect start if you’re planning on a day’s Christmas shopping.
