Family Ballet: West London School of Dance presents Peter Pan

full text here

e haven't seen a West London School of Dance production before, but have heard that it's a lovely thing to go and see, especially if you have a mini ballet lover, or aspiring ballerina in your household. The school, instead of setting exams, mounts a proper, grown up production each year, with professional dancers taking the lead roles, wonderful sets and costumes, and parts for all their students, aged 5 and upwards. This year, they are staging Sir Matthew Arnold's Peter Pan, with Yat-Sen Chang, one of the stars of the English National Ballet,  playing Captain Hook. You can see the ballet this weekend, on the  15th and 16th June, at the Bloomsbury Theatre, but do book now as the tickets are going fast
