Christmas is perhaps the only time many of us would consider ordering a delivery of drinks and our latest discovery is going to make that selection far more interesting than it may previously have been. EeBria is a new website that brings together small producers across the country from a microbrewery under a railway arch in Salford that produces Black India Pale Ale to an organic vodka created in a distillery near Highgate. Founder David Jackson aims to make locally known producers available to a far broader audience and while there’s a big selection of beer firms – some of which maybe familiar – there are plenty of new discoveries too such as a cherry brandy from Burrow Hill in Somerset who are more famous for their stellar ciders (the farm is owned by Julian Temperley, father of designer Alice). There are gin and vodka producers too, as well as a small collection of English wines from estates in Kent and Sussex. You can order from the site but your drinks will be shipped straight from the producers themselves ensuring that it arrives fresh and in tiptop condition.
