29 October, 6pm - 10pm
If you’re not dusting off your witch’s hat next week but would still like to celebrate Halloween then here is the perfect grown-up (and glamorous) way to do it. Veuve Clicquot tasked the incredibly talented Nick Knight, photographer and creator of SHOWstudio, with creating an immersive experience for its inaugural Halloween event, The Widow Series. The result which includes a collection of five fashion horror films – will be unveiled on 29 October in a free exhibition on the old site of Central Saint Martins. As well as the films Knight has also commissioned a series of intriguing rooms curated by Gareth Pugh, Chanel muse and collaborator Amanda Harlech, taxidermist Rose Robson, tattoo artist Scott Campbell, performance artist Imma Mess and perfumer Michael Boadi. There will be a series of fashion illustrations on display too. You can sign up for tickets to visit the show for free – but if you really want to make an evening of it you can treat yourself to Veuve Clicquot tastings too. But do be quick – more tickets are being released today but the event is already selling out fast.
