Potage Supper Club at Books for Cooks

If you’re looking for a way to eat more healthily this year and, as a side benefit, lose weight, then we can’t recommend Potage highly enough (we first wrote about it back in 2015 here).  The company cooks delicious, freshly-made food and delivers across central London.  It was started up by Georgia Cummings in October 2012 with £1,000 savings, doing all the cooking in her mother’s kitchen and delivering locally on a bicycle.  It has grown mostly through word of mouth and there is now a team of 8 cooking in a kitchen under a railway arch in Battersea.  Georgia originally started out with a Saturday stall outside Books for Cooks in Notting Hill so it’s fitting that her first supper club is going to be held there on March 23rd.  For £25, you’ll get 3 delicious seasonal courses and if you’d like to drink alcohol you can also purchase a £10 bottle of organic red wine or ‘bring your own’.  If, like us, you’re a fan of Georgia’s cooking (she trained at Ballymaloe Cookery School) then you’ll definitely want to see what she has in store for the evening.
