Gemma Arterton in Their Finest

Jimmy Choo presents UN Women in Film Series

It takes a bit more to get us to the cinema these days and this UN Women in Film series in partnership with Jimmy Choo, raising money for gender equality, looks like just the ticket. All the films look brilliant, kicking off with A Quiet Passion, a biopic of poet Emily Dickinson starring Cynthia Nixon and directed by Terence Davies. A Q&A with Davies will follow the film. All screenings take place at the lovely Curzon cinemas – half are at Curzon Soho and half at Curzon Mayfair – and included in the ticket price is glass of Nyetimber English sparkling wine, as well as a Green & Black’s ice-cream. Their Finest, an adaptation of Lissa Evans’ much-adored World War II set novel will also be previewed as part of this series. And as if that wasn’t good enough, there will be a Q&A with Bill Nighy to follow.
