17 and 18 June 2017
Open Garden Squares Weekend, now in its 20th year, is back on 17th and 18th June with a record 237 spaces to visit, many of which are not normally open to the public. There’s a ballot to have a guided tour of the gardens at No 10, a chance to see some of the city’s most amazing rooftop gardens such as those at Nomura International, Baring Asset Management or Hachette UK which all boast fantastic views over the city. There are gardens in unusual spaces (skips, disused tennis courts, railway lines), community gardens and allotments as well as some stunning kitchen gardens including at the River Café. And there are historic and private spaces too such as the beautiful Master’s Garden at Temple or the Royal College of Physicians’ medicinal garden. And you can visit as many gardens as you want for the £13 all weekend ticket.
