An evening with David Sedaris

If you’ve never heard David Sedaris talk (let alone read any of his books), then we urge you to book tickets for his forthcoming tour this autumn without delay.  Sedaris is over from America to read from his diaries Theft By Finding (Volume ONE; David Sedaris Diaries 1977-2003) which he is publishing in June.  Sister of comedian and actress Amy Sedaris, David has over 10 million of his books in print and they have been translated into over 25 languages.  Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim and When You Are Engulfed in Flames are two of our favourites.  You can also catch him on the BBC Radio 4 Series, Meet David Sedaris.  There are two dates in London during his autumn tour – 3rd and 4th September, both at the Royal Festive al Hall – the first night has almost sold out but there are still tickets left for the 4th.  A critic once called him an American Alan Bennett, and if you’re after a sardonic, witty, laugh-out-loud take on modern day life, then look no further.
