Poetry evening with Joanna Lumley, Stephen Mangan, Helen McCrory & Simon Russell Beale

Allie Esiri is the creator of the iF poems and The Love Book poetry app which we raved about before here.  Her latest book is the anthology A Poem for Every Day of the Year which is really what is says on the tin – a journey through the year highlighting key dates by writers such as Keats, W H Auden, Maya Angelou and Kate Tempest. To help celebrate the publication, on 10 November there will be an evening of readings from the book by actors including Joanna Lumley, Stephen Mangan, Simon Russell Beale, Helen McCrory and Samuel West.  Chris Riddell, the political cartoonist for The Observer, will be on hand live drawing the event.  It’s only 45 minutes long, costs a bargain £7 and at 6pm on a Friday evening, we can’t imagine a more fun way to start off your weekend.
