We’ve rounded up a few of our favourite new things to keep children entertained over half term and Halloween.
French brand Titlee has the most adorable enamel pins and pendants and the Halloween themed pieces are particularly cute with ghouls, bats and pumpkin charms and pins. (25 euros)
We are huge fans of Djeco’s toys, puzzles and crafting sets. The gorgeous, colourful glitter boards are fun to create. (£14.99)
From 27 October the Little School of Biscuiteers will be hosting hour long icing classes for mini bakers aged 7 and over. They will get to keep all their iced creations from the day, get a Biscuiteers certificate and an apron too. (£36)
One of the latest additions to the cool Scandi brand Nordic House is this seriously covetable rocking mammoth (£139). We also love the gorgeous ceramic wall balloons which come in sugared almond shades.
Jason Ford has added another book to his superheroes series: The Superheroes Adventure Playset is a carousel book that opens out to create three different backdrops with which kids can create their own superhero stories. (£16.99)
The Horniman is one of our favourite London museums and next weekend (28 and 29 October, www.horniman.ac.uk) it will host a Halloween fair. There will be story-telling and pumpkin carving, fancy dress, a ghoulish trail, face painting and a Wild Fangs Creepy Cave where children can handle creepy crawlies including a Chilean Rose Tarantula.
