On Thursday 16th November, Nadine Levy Redzepi, (wife and business partner of Noma chef René Redzepi) will be cooking dinner with Snaps & Rye’s Head Chef. Celebrating the publication of Nadine’s cookbook Downtime: Deliciousness at Home, the evening will feature a Nordic menu of dishes from the book, including Homemade Potato Crisps with Anchovy Hummus and Salmon Tartare, Cold Prawns in Horseradish Cream and Braised Pork Cheek Ragu with Pasta. Redzepi grew up in Portugal, France and England, before moving to Denmark where she she lives with her husband and 3 children. The book reflects this combination of cuisines and cultures and, whilst a former professional chef herself, her cooking is less about formal meals and more about feeding the family together around the kitchen table. The evening will start off at 7.30pm with a Smørrebrød Canapé and Nordic G&T, followed by an introduction to the 3 course dinner by Nadine herself.
