Rose Prince’s Kitchenella

We confess to buying a lot of cook books. And the one we love most this season is without question Rose Prince’s Kitchenella. It’s brilliant. Its subtitle is The Secrets of Women: Heroic, Simple, Nurturing Cookery—For Everyone. Too right. This is the way we want to cook: not once in a blue moon to impress, or as an occasional hobby, but daily, simply, deliciously and well. Prince, in this book, tells you how to do that. We read it from cover to cover, and are assiduously using many of its mouth watering recipes.

We’ve also managed to persuade Rose to write a Guest Blog for us. For her Christmas food address book, click here.
