Talks: book now for Nicole Krauss, Alain de Botton, Clive James and more
We’ve just finished Nicole Krauss’ latest novel, Great House, which we waited for impatiently after falling head over heels for her previous one, The History of Love. Her husband is Jonathan Safran Foer and if you enjoyed his book, Everything is Illuminated, you’ll love her books too for their poignant, beautifully expressed emotions. Great House isn’t on sale until 24th February but we’re giving you the heads up because Krauss is in London for a talk at the brilliant Jewish Book Week, which is already getting booked out. Other people to see include Eve Ensler (of Vagina Monologues fame), chefs Allegra Goodman and Yotam Ottolenghi, Clive James, historian Martin Gilbert, Alain de Botton, Peter Mandelson, and Linda Grant in conversation with the fabulous Joan Bakewell.
