Food: pop-up Skye Gyngell restaurant

Whilst we’d love to spend most of our waking moments at Petersham Nurseries Café in Richmond eating the delicious food by Michelin-starred chef Skye Gyngell (if you haven’t been, you must – the food is great and the setting just divine), the reality is that it isn’t the cheapest or most central of places. What joy then that Skye has partnered up with Cloudy Bay wines for a pop-up outdoor taster ‘shack’ next weekend in Parsons Green. Head for the silver airstream, grab a deck chair and listen to the accompanying jazz trio whilst trying one of five taster dishes such as sea trout with creme fraiche and bruschetta or risotto with lemon and San Daniele ham. There’s even a Petersham Nurseries-inspired herb garden to forage in – let’s just hope the weather gets better by then!
