We receive quite a few e-mails labelled ‘Sample Sales’ but are invariably disappointed to find that they are usually not worth the considerable effort that goes into attending them, namely the queuing, checking in your bags and the general elbows-in-your-face hysteria. This week, however, there are three that we KNOW are worth getting excited about.
First up is the Paul Smith Warehouse Sale which is selling mens’ and womens’ clothes and accessories from Autumn/winter 2011 and other past seasons. This sale is especially good for men who don’t want to dress like their grandfather but don’t want to look as if they’ve tried too hard either and if you’re feeling super organised, you’ll find some great christmas presents too. Secondly, for one of the last chances to get your hands on D&G (it was recently folded into the main womens’ Dolce & Gabbana line), and at a bargain price too (we went last year and got a brilliant black lace dress for £80) get yourself down to the D&G sample sale this Friday for up to 70% off ready-to-wear, accessories, shoes and bags. And finally, the MiH jeans sample sale which we raved about earlier this year here has returned. We love their jeans for their softness and flattering, brilliant styles (their back pockets seem to work magic on our bums!) Their t-shirts, shirts and corduroy jackets are very good too, as seen on Rachel Weisz, Claudia Schiffer and lots of other celebs. Good hunting!
