Theatre & children: Punchdrunk’s The House Where Winter Lives

If you’ve ever been to one of Punchdrunk’s theatrical events you’ll know that they are one of the most unforgettable, interactive experiences you’ll ever have.  So we were intrigued to discover that their children’s offshoot, Punchdrunk Enrichment, has a show on this christmas.  For children aged three to 6 and their families, the show, like their adults ones, is an interactive storytelling adventure, but this one has a very Christmassy theme – two forest dwellers invite the audience to join them in their cottage as they prepare a winter feast.  When they realise they’ve mislaid the key to the larder, the audience follow them on a journey through the secret forest to find it.  Tickets for the adult shows sell out in minutes but there are some still left for the childrens show – we advise you don’t hang around if you don’t want to miss out.
