Such is the allure of both Massive Attack and documentary maker Adam Curtis, that although the specifics of this ‘gig’ haven’t yet been released, some of the dates have already sold out. We’re certainly intrigued by the list of people involved such as Felix Barret, Artistic Director of Punchdrunk and Es Devlin, stage and costume designer who has worked with everybody from Kanye West to The Royal Shakespeare Company. Plus we saw Barret’s previous theatrical collaboration with Adam Curtis, It Felt Like A Kiss, (with music by Damon Albarn) which we loved. And so even though this is in Manchester (you can catch loads of other events at the brilliant Manchester International Festival too), we think it’s so worth the trek. Just don’t hang around to book tickets, otherwise they’ll have all sold out.
