From 21 January 2015
Booking has now opened for the National Theatre’s spring season and there are some real goodies to be snapped up. First up on our list is Tom Stoppard’s new stage play, his first since Rock’N’Roll in 2006. Directed by Nick Hytner, with set design by Bob Crowley, The Hard Problem, tackles the issue of where psychology and biology meet – if there is nothing but matter, what is consciousness? Sounds fascinating. Next up is Man and Superman, starring Ralph Fiennes in Bernard Shaw’s romantic comedy, epic fairytale and fiery philosophical debate, all rolled into one. And in March, comes a new play by Sam Holcroft directed by Marianne Elliott, called Rules for Living, a dark comedy about how families cope with living together. You’ll have to wait until Wednesday 26th November to book the latter but for the first two, book now, especially for those bargain £15 tickets.
