If you’re planning a trip out of London in the next few months, then we highly recommend The Lucky Onion Club’s series of upcoming events. A family-run group of boutique hotels, pubs and restaurants in the Cotswolds (including Hotels No 131 and No 38 The Park in Cheltenham), The Lucky Onion’s new members-only club events celebrate food, music, drink and design.
First up is Mark Hix who is cooking for The Lucky Onion pop-up private club at The Cheltenham Races. His brunch menu includes Drop Scones and his ‘Hix Cure’ De Beauvoir smoked salmon, whilst his 7 course evening ‘Feast Menu’ features the best of the British season with Dorset Blue Lobster and Sirloin of Mighty Marbled Glenarm Estate Beef. Following this will be Sunday Lunch with Fergus Henderson, on the 19th April. On Saturday 2nd May, as part of the Cheltenham Jazz Festival, there will be the Ultimate Jazz House Party with Sam Clark, Owner and Founder of Moro, kicking off the night with a three course supper before the late night Jazz House Party begins with performances from Gregory Porter, Trevor Nelson, Cerys Matthews and more. Further ahead in the year, there will be a Valentine Warner supper club on 18th June and a Meat Feast with Richard Turner of Hawksmoor on 3rd September, with plenty more coming up in the autumn. Membership of the club is free for now so we advise you take advantage and book soon.
