We’re huge fans of The White Company so we were excited to find out whether the skincare collection lived up to the quality of their bed linen. The range was created in partnership with The Abnormal Beauty Company (who also made this serum that we raved about before here) and the six products were, according to White Company founder Chrissie Rucker, trialled extensively for over a year until she was happy. We were very impressed with the results. We’ve never been able to get that enthusiastic about face balms (including the lauded Eve Lom one) but we really liked the Super Balm daily cleanser. It changes from balm to oil once massaged in and is wiped off with a hot cloth. Our face really does feel softer after 2 weeks of using it. Other favourites include the Super Serum, which Rucker says if you’re only going to buy one product, this is it. We liked the fact that it offered UV protection and helped to reduce our dark under-eye circles. The Hand Elixir cream was usefully non-sticky but rich and the Daily Moisturiser, advanced hydration, acted as both moisturiser and primer. The most expensive item is the Super Serum which is £40 and overall, we thought it was a well-priced range (starting at £20) that offers good value for money and a high quality product.
