Accidentally Wes Anderson Pop-Up

As avid followers of the @accidentallywesanderson Instagram account, we were very excited to learn about the book by the same name curated by Wally Koval (the man behind the account) and with a foreword by Wes Anderson. The book sold out in under 3 days when it launched in the US this autumn, rocketing straight up the New York Times bestseller list. If you’re not familiar with it, the idea is that people tag the account with real-life pictures of places and scenes that look like they’ve been lifted straight out of a Wes Anderson movie, and they’re posted alongside the stories behind them. If you’d like to get your hands on a copy of the book, as well as a selection of prints then visit the immersive pop-up in person at Hackney’s Old Bank Vault this December or in digital form (sign up here and use the access code: ADVENTURETIME for early access from 3 December). The A3 and A2 prints will be sold framed and unframed starting at £50 and will be available online as well as at the gallery. There will also be a small selection of limited edition A1 prints available at The Old Bank Vault only, as well as a signed copy of the book that will be raffled for charity. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the works that will be on sale from Friday 4 December – 23 December 2020:

Hotel Opera

National Library Ireland

Japan railways

Glacier Ski Plane

Hot air balloon
