SHOPPING & FASHION
Opening next Wednesday 29th September is the third Daily Dress Edit Pop-Up and we can’t wait. Hosted at 14-15 Eccleston Yards, it will be open for three weeks and will feature dresses from over 40 independent British brands including some which Isabel has co-designed and which will only be available at the pop-up. Noteworthy labels include British brands Rosie Caldwell and Anna Mason, vintage inspired maternity wear Clary & Peg and Johanna Sands. Plus slow fashion labels O Pioneers, Darla Studio and Baukjen. Also not to be missed is the Belgravia Edit, a new addition to the pop-up, which will highlight the neighbourhood’s new season dresses from brands including ME+EM, Beulah, My Wardrobe HQ and Louise Kennedy.
The boutique shop will be designed by Interior Designer Lucy Barlow, Founder and Creative Director of Barlow & Barlow. It will be in the style of a Regency dress store with a touch of 70s glam using the colours Burgundy and pink (which will also be seen in some of the dresses).
Alongside the dresses, Spearman will also host a celebration of British craft and creativity as part of London Craft Week, 4th – 10th October. Three emerging designers will demonstrate their craft live in the store throughout the week: textile specialist Freya Simonne and designer Jeanie from Back by Sundown, who works exclusively with sustainably sourced fabric, will be hand stitching dresses, and Mekala from contemporary fashion brand Manimekala will be hand marbling fabric. Each designer has created an exclusive dress for the pop-up.
