The Best Corduroy

Corduroy always gives us nostalgia. Growing up in the 70s and 80s, it was a regular part of a child’s wardrobe. We have vivid memories of the “swish-swish” of corduroy trousers, walking down quiet hallways at school. Of course, it also brings back more fashionable memories of super stylish women, like Diane Keaton or Jane Birkin, putting their own spin on corduroy during the cooler months.

We especially love some of the colourful corduroy dresses this season.

Cefinn has some beautifully cut needlecord this in this season’s collection. Isabel Spearman tipped us off to the lovely dress, which was apparently one of the best-sellers at her Daily Dress Edit pop-up.

To go all out, a corduroy suit is a great option that will see you through the season. Worn separately, the blazer looks amazing with jeans, the trousers with a wooly jumper.
