Elegant Champagne Coupes

We think Champagne coupes are the most fun, elegant glasses to drink some bubbly from (no knocking your nose on the glass which you can do with champagne flutes). Legend has it the shape of the coupe was modelled on the left breast of the French Queen Marie Antoinette, wife of King Louis XVI of France but actually the glass was designed in England over a century earlier. We particularly love ours with a French 75 - a French champagne cocktail which was invented after the first world war - the cocktail was said to have the strength of the 75 gun. Cheers!
