Now in it’s second year, the Cliveden Literary Festival has just as starry a lineup of speakers. From Stephen Frears to Jake Chapman, from Tina Brown to Edmund de Waal and Sarah Waters to Naomi Wolf, the festival really does offer something for everyone. Tickets are for Saturday or Sunday (rather than individual talks such as at the Hay Literary Festival) and as for food, you can pre-order or buy a Fortnum & Mason hamper, eat at the Astor Grill or take your pick at the selection of food stalls.
