Moisturise & Brighten
£115 from Tatcha
Cooler weather inevitably leads to dry, dull skin. Autumn is a great time to trade your light, summer moisturiser for something a little more substantial. This cream from Tatcha is weightless, yet very hydrating, making it a great day cream to wear under your makeup.
£13 from Neutrogena
This moisturiser from Neutrogena has a gel-like texture, but contains hyaluronic acid for an extra boost. It has gained a permanent place in our beauty arsenal — working well under everyday make-up and is great value for money.
Adding some colour back into your makeup routine works to brighten up sallow looking skin. Trade bronzer for blush and grab a sheer, moisturising lipstick. A good primer or highlighter can really improve the look of skin as well. Hollywood Flawless Filter from Charlotte Tilbury looks great on it own, or under your usual makeup giving a natural looking glow.

Gucci’s line of cosmetics is all packaged beautifully, but we have fallen head over heels for this eye palette. Would make an excellent gift for the holidays.
Medik8
We really rate Medik8 and have found ourselves trying more and more of their products.
C-Tetra Luxe has been subbed in for our usual daily vitamin C as it has an oil-based texture that feels great on parched skin.
Advanced Night Restore is formulated specifically for use over vitamin A (retinol) products at night. Our dermatologist assures us that ceramides are one of the best ways to restore the skin barrier overnight. We wake up with a glow.

Banish Stress & Anxiety
Autumn always seems like the busiest time of year. And, things don’t slow down once the holiday season gets into gear. We have been incorporating some aromatherapy into our routine in an attempt at self-care.
De Mamiel is a brand we had seen highlighted previously and it does live up to the hype, using natural formulas to treat the impact of stress on the skin. The scents are heavenly and taking the time to inhale before applying really does give us a sense of calm during the morning routine.

We are also turning back to the evening ritual of a bath in order to wind down before bed. Add in some salts and/or oils for extra relaxation.

The summer sun can be punishing on hair, but particularly when chemically lightened. Before going in for a pre-holiday cut and colour, we are trying to get locks back in shape using nourishing formulas and trying to lay off the blow dryer.
Sephora officially landed in the UK this October online, with a physical store to follow. Time to grab some of their exclusive products and hard to get brands.
