Great Jeans

After the hottest summer we're feeling excited about to getting back into a pair of jeans. These are the styles we love this season.

A Little Bird - Sezane Jeans

A Little Flare

Our go-to cut this season, a gentle flare is very flattering. We particularly like them with patch pockets. Try the classic American denim brand, Lee for more of a 70s vibe or go for this pair from &Other Stories with a darker wash for a dressier look.

Straight Cut

We have bought Sezane’s Sexy Brut jeans several times over. Straight cut on the leg, they have buttons instead of a zip and work well for those with a bum. Made from organic eco-friendly cotton they don’t have stretch in them which makes them more flattering.

For slim-legged straight jeans, Khaite and Reformation have styles that make legs go on and on. And Arket’s looser straight cut are relaxed and easy.

The Classics

A Little Bird Levi 501 jeans

In general, Levi’s make great, high quality denim at a reasonable price point. We are loyal to our 501s and they never really seem to go out of style. It’s worth trying on a few sizes to get the fit you want. The “original” 501s remain our favourite, but there are also skinny and 90s versions with a similar waistline, but with a little change in leg shape.

Black Skinny Jeans

A Little Bird Frame High Rise Skinny

We know that skinny jeans are no longer the top of the style list but we think there is always a place for a good pair in black. This style from Frame are favourites  — in fact, it’s our second pair. The high waist and long skinny, but not too tight, leg contributes to the overall slimming effect. They look fab with knee high boots and a blazer for evening, but have enough substance to also wear during the day with a pair of trainers (again, not skin tight).
