Annabelle Neilson – or ‘Tinks’ to family and friends – was Alexander McQueen’s best friend and muse. Across an 18-year friendship she accrued an enormous wardrobe of spectacular McQueen clothes with many designs adapted specifically for her and cut accordingly. Following her untimely death aged 49 just 8 years after McQueen, the collection is going on sale at Kerry Taylor Auctions.
